3D Models (Photogrammetry and LiDAR)
Photogrammetry and LiDAR are two powerful techniques used for generating 3D models of terrain, structures, and environments. When combined with Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS), they offer efficient and versatile methods for capturing detailed spatial data for a variety of projects and use cases. SuavAir is equipped to perform surveys using both techniques depending on the project. Photogrammetry provides a higher resolution orthomosaic and the LiDAR is able to penetrate laser scans through vegetation to create a highly accurate Digital Elevation Model.
Some of SuavAir’s previous projects have involved large construction projects, accident investigations, forestry plantations, golf courses, and real estate homes. Geospatial measurements can be taken such as vertical and horizontal distances, as well as cut and fill volume analysis.
